Surat, 27 March. A grand poetry event, “Ekal Shrihari Vanwasi Vikas Trust – Kavita Ke Rang, Ekal Manch” Vishal Kavi Sammelan, was organized on Thursday at the International Convention Center’s Platinum Hall in Sarsana. At the start of the event, the trust honored its donors. After that, famous poets from different parts of the country participated in the poetry session and entertained the audience with their poems, songs, ghazals, and humorous verses. The poets conveyed feelings of love for the country and the importance of motherland. Padmashri Hasya Kavi Ashok Chakradhar recited a satirical poem on current affairs making a dog the protagonist. Famous singer and poetess Anamika Jain Amber captivated everyone with her sharp words.
It was noted that on one side the poet’s verses amazed everyone, on the other side the magic of musical notes enchanted the minds. During the poetry reading it was heard: “Now the rule of truth and Sanatan will prevail, only Ram devotees will rule Delhi’s throne, Ram devotees will rule Delhi’s throne.” Hasya Kavi Shambhu Shikhar made the audience laugh with his humorous verses. Hasya Kavi Anil Agrawansi joked, “If you make a son like this, history will forget, believe in daughter.” Poet Gaurav Sharma forced the audience to laugh with Marwari language jokes.
The successful program was conducted by Hasya Kavi Shashikant Yadav from Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. He won the audience’s heart with energetic poems and humorous satire.
