PadamShri Sunil Jogi is a famous comic poet and lyricist, known for humorous poems. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2015 and has also held the post of Minister of State in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, he has served as Hindi Advisor in the Railway Ministry, he has also worked as the President of Hindustani Academy. He is best known for his humorous poems, although he has also written Veer, Shringaar and Vatsalya poems.
He has obtained postgraduate and PhD degrees in Hindi literature. At present, his presence is seen the most in the Hindi Comedy Kavi Sammelan stage or any All India Kavi Sammelan. One of his poems is very famous –
“Mushkil Hai Apna Mail Priye,
Ye Pyar Nahi Hai Khel Priye”
