Surendra Sharma is a comic poet who is the lifeblood of the Comedy Kavi Sammelan stage. Whose unique style and quick wit have made him famous not only in India but all over the world. Surendra Sharma was born on 29 July 1945 in Nangal Chaudhary, Haryana. He has a Master of Commerce (M.Com) education. Basically, Surendra Sharma ji is seen writing humorous poems and satires on his wife and the listeners are also quite impressed by it. Surendra Sharma is said to be the epitome of humorous poems.
His main collections are -Mansarovar Ke Kavve (Satire),The follies of the wise (Satire), the mischiefs of the great (Satire). He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013. Apart from this, he also received the Kaka Hathrasi Award.
