Dr. Hariom Panwar is a strong signature of Veer Ras. Panwar ji was born on 24 May 1951 in Butna village near Secunderabad in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. He has been a professor of law in Meerut University.
He is famous for his poems full of heroic patriotism. For many decades, Veer Ras’s Hindi poetry has been adorning the Kavi Sammelan stages. Dr. Hariom Panwar is such a poet whose poetry makes everyone from young to old get emotional after listening to it.
His main works include Black Money, Heartbeat of the Valley, I am the statement of the dying democracy, Baaghi Hain, we will keep singing the songs of revolution, Hijacking of the plane, Story of Congress, On the death of Indira ji, On the fire of Ayodhya, I am sitting with broken dreams of freedom, Mera Ram is my Hindustan, I have brought to show the picture of the injured Bharat Mata, Introduction of the immortal revolutionary Chandrashekhar, Cease fire in the valley, Why have I sung slogans, Yes Sir, I am screaming etc. He has been decorated with honors like Nirala Award, Bharatiya Sahitya Sangam Award, Rashmi Award, Jan Jagran, Best Poet Award and Awaaz-e-Hindusthan.
An album of his poems has been made. ‘Agnisagar’ has 6 video CDs. Apart from this, there are also 4 audio CDs.
‘Inscriptions of Agneepath’ is his poetry collection.
