A grand event dedicated to literature, art and culture is organized in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh by the name of “Udisha Chaupal Sahitya Utsav” kavi sammelan. This time this festival will run from 22 to 26 January 2026. The objective of the program is to honor litterateurs, connect people with their cultural roots and promote Indian art and culture.
Odisha Chaupal Literature Festival is being organized at Gandhi Maidan, Buddhi Vihar, Moradabad. Unique confluence of poetry, music and theater
In this festival, programs based on poetry, music, theatre, cinema, folk culture and contemporary social topics are being organized. Famous creators, artists and thinkers of the country are establishing dialogue on literature and society through their presentations here. In this series, Kavi Sammelan was organized on 25th January in which some renowned poets of the country were present, including poetess Kavita Tiwari, poetess Sarita Sharma, international Hasya Kavi Shambhu Shikhar, Dr. Hariom Panwar, Vishnu Saxena and popular Meerthi along with other poets. The main attraction of the entire Kavi Sammelan was the comic poet Shambhu Shikhar ji. After listening to his humorous poems, love was showered in the form of applause from the Commissioner, District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police as well as thousands of listeners. As soon as he came down from the stage, there was a crowd of people taking selfies with him and Shambhu Shikhar ji also left no stone unturned in giving everyone a chance to take selfies. The audience present at this Kavi Sammelan in Moradabad will remember this Kavi Sammelan for years.
