Madan Mohan Danish was born on 08 September 1961 in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. Received primary education in his village itself. Madan Mohan Danish’s life was full of ups and downs. Many years of his life were spent in Bhopal, then his search for employment brought him to Gwalior. His higher education also took place in these two cities. He held many positions in Akashvani in Gwalior. Today he is famous in the entire country because of his poetry.
Madan Mohan Danish, the owner of simple and easy style, has an important identity in the country and outside the country on the basis of his poetic talent. His poetry, which is eye-to-eye with life and its bitter truths, is recognized from afar in the contemporary scenario. Along with life, he is seen showing a mirror to the collective and individual sensitivities of the world and the individual and in this way the beauty of poetry remains established in its place. Madan Mohan Danish surprises the reader with his freshness and newness, as if there is a wave of soft notes which takes the reader in its current. Death, love, life, night etc. are his favorite words which he weaves into the Egyptian thread and makes poetry. His poetic style is very untouched, that is why he talks to his readers in the language of poetry. Madan Mohan Danish shows his magic even in small verses and in such a way that those verses get imprinted in our memory. Today his popularity is such that his poetry collections are widely accepted and he is considered the guarantee of the success of Mushairas. His poetry has crossed the borders and reached Dubai, Qatar, Sharjah, Pakistan and America, Canada etc. Till now two of his books have been published. Several editions of the latest book (Aasmaan Fursat Mein Hai) have been published and the readers have lapped up the book. Apart from this, he has also been awarded many important literary awards, which also includes the award of Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy.
Presently he lives in Gwalior and has retired from All India Radio Gwalior.
